The Italian Husbands are celebrating a new release with a performance in Vancouver, BC, Canada this Saturday, December 20th.

Here's the details:

The Italian Husbands, romantics of the trash-core, will bring you the deep pervasiveness in the form of ultra lo-fi ritualism and hippy nihilism. They will be releasing their new disc, "Possession," at this event, a 4 track disc featuring gems that blasted out the walls of Sludge House to weary neighbors, the passerby crazy meatheads and the ever gracious audiences that filled the living room of that vile home during the shows that were held there. Packaged in stark black and white, this disc encompasses the rage and aggression of the rental crunch of oil town, Alberta. It also holds moments of intense bliss in hard fucking times.

The entire history of Sludge House, while too long to list here, can be barely summed up by the fact that it was the home and birth place to not only the Italian Husbands as tangible beings but the birth of the expression of joy and anger, manifested simultaneously in metaphoric and ecstatic moments.

Also, Burrow Owl will bring harsh noise pins and needles style and Set Sail to Sea will dampen the walls and bookshelves of Solder and Sons with thick layers of down-tuned doom sludge.

Solder and Sons is on the corner of Main Street and Powell. The show will be an early one. Show up around 7:30pm and chill. We ask that you make a small donation for the bands, but we welcome all music lovers regardless of financial offerings.
